Photographing modern living, day 2
Photography Day has become Photography Days here in the Indianapolis Museum of Art Archives, so we thought we would share a digital capture in its roughest form. Each image begins as a RAW file, complete with ColorChecker and identifier in the frame. With a little help from Photoshop, we end up with the more polished images like those that have been shared via Tumblr thus far.
More photography equipment details:
- Black board (yes, this was ordered specifically for the MHGC project!)
- Two types of magnets: small, powerful magnets for securing items to the blackboard while we photograph; and the number/letter magnets that we use to form each item’s unique identification number.
